Wouldn’t it be cool if they found Nefertiti’s tomb behind King Tut’s?
What a fascinating queen. She and her husband, Akhenaten, got in hot water when they tried to get Egypt to worship one god instead of many. Their god of choice, Aten, the sun god.
The people went along with it for a while, but then found that it rocked their world too much.
One of my favorite books about Nefertiti is one of historical fiction by Michelle Moran.
