“I could do the pictures…”

One of my favorite Powerful Princess kids came to the workshop yesterday.

“I loved that story you told us this morning,” she said.

“Anything you’d change, any boring parts?” I asked her. “I want to turn these stories into books, and your ideas help.”

She looked at me for a moment.

“Would these books have pictures?”

“Yes,” I said.

“I could draw them,” she said. “I’m pretty good. Let me give you some examples…”

An hour later I had these, along with sample book titles.

I ended the day of the workshop exhausted but thrilled.
